Rajvir Jawanda, who passed only days after a terrible traffic accident, is remembered by Diljit Dosanjh.

New Delhi: On September 27, Rajvir Jawanda, an actor and singer from Punjab, suffered injuries in a terrible traffic accident. For eleven days, he was kept on a ventilator at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. While receiving treatment, he died. At 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday, the actor passed away. Tomorrow, his funeral will take place in Jagraon.ollowing the actor’s passing, tributes are pouring in, and international singer Diljit Dosanjh, who is presently in Australia for his Aura Tour 2025, also paid his respects on Instagram Stories.

Diljit posted a picture of Rajvir Jawanda standing inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar along with the Punjabi phrase “Waheguru.” When Rajvir was admitted to the hospital, the singer also asked his fans to pray for him.

How did Rajvir get hurt?
Rajvir Jawanda was involved in a bullfight-related accident while riding his bike close to Sector 30 T-Point on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road. The singer was on her way to Pinjore from Baddi. He was severely hurt when his bike lost control and he fell onto the highway due to a bull that suddenly appeared in front of him. Jawanda sustained severe injuries to her head and spine in the collision. Since the accident, he has been kept on life support.

The career of Rajvir Jawanda
Rajvir’s 2014 album Munda Like Me marked the beginning of his career, and in 2016, Kali Jawanda Di helped him become well-known. Songs by Kangana and Muqabla became popular in 2017. He then performed a number of hit songs, such as Landlord, Surname, Kesari Jhanda, and Patiala Shahi Pag. He starred in films like Kaka Ji, Jind Jaan, Mindo Tehsildarni, and Sikandar 2 after making his acting debut in the Punjabi film Subedar Joginder Singh in 2018.

When Mann learnt of Rajvir Jawanda’s passing while undergoing treatment, he expressed his profound sadness. “A Punjabi music industry star has passed away forever.” The voice of Rajveer Jawanda, whose songs won people over at an early age, will never die. According to his tweet, “May Waheguru grant the departed soul peace and give his family and fans strength to bear this loss.”
